Connecting the Dots for Kissing Cousins

UPDATE to the previous post: After skimming page by page through only hundreds (it would’ve been thousands) I found an 1865 marriage record for Pasquale Carmelo Tumminello to Rosalia Maria Glorioso, names I’ve had in my info for many years.

Pasquale is the son of Carmelo Filippo Tumminello and Concetta Ignazia di Maio (Maggio), my GG-Grandparents. Pasquale’s sister, Concetta Maria, is my g-grandmother.

Pasquale and Rosalia would go on to have a son name Filippo.

Pasquale’s sister Concetta would go on to have a daughter Ignazia.

(The lack of original names is astounding.)

That Filippo and and that Ignazia, who are first cousins, would eventually marry in New Orleans, in 1907.
